Pre Menopausal Asymptomatic Complex Ovarian Cysts

Transabdominal and transvaginal scans are recommended.

 

 

 

Symptomatic cysts of any size may need referral to the General Gynae Clinic. In cases of endometrioma GP to enquire about symptoms and fertility.

 

Always refer to previous imaging if available CT/MRI/US.

The report should make explicit who is to arrange follow up.
