A pathway for new presentations of adult skin eruptions in adults and children that enables all RCHT-facing practices to gain a rapid opinion on diagnosis and management. It is a useful alternative to a face-to-face clinic referral for selected patients.
It involves sending a digital photo with clinical history through to the RCHT dermatologists using the standard NHS e-Referral system. We will respond within 72 hours.
You can take a picture with a digital camera or even your smartphone. The ‘Quick Reference Guide’ below explains how to do this.
